Dear Families and Students,

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! My name is Mrs. Daniel and I am very excited to serve as Aldie Elementary School’s Resource Teacher and Special Education Case Manager for grades K-5. In this role, I serve students who learn in unique ways.  I also serve Aldie as an interventionist and as a specialized reading instructor.  This will be my thirty-fourth year of teaching and my eleventh year teaching for LCPS. Besides working as a resource teacher, I have taught first, second, third and fourth grades as a general education teacher.  I have a BS in Elementary Education with a minor in English and a M. Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction in Special Education.  I look forward to the opportunity of getting to work with the students, parents and staff of the Bobcat community.

When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family. I am married and I have 2 adult children. I also have a very active dog named Harley. I have several interests outside of school, biking being my favorite. On any given weekend, you will find my husband and I biking along one of the many bike trails that meander through our area. I also love to cheer on the Ohio State Buckeyes from my great home state of Ohio.  Our family enjoys camping and exploring the wonderful national parks in the United States.

I am passionate about building relationships with the students and their families that I serve.  If you ever have a need or concern, please do not hesitate to reach out.
