The EL program at Blue Ridge provides students who are not native speakers of English with instruction that develops listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills across content areas. Students who are English Learners receive services in models that best fit the linguistic level of each student while not compromising the grade-level content and rigor.  Depending on student needs, classes may be sheltered or co-taught by a licensed EL teacher.  

The EL teachers at Blue Ridge are Mrs. Susan Hubbuch (SALT) and Ms. Shabnam Omar.
