World Languages & Cultures

It is our pleasure to provide students a world language rich in content and culture in order to collaborate, communicate, and contribute within our global environment.

Seventh and eighth graders may study two full years (levels 1 & 2) of German, Spanish, and French.  These courses provide one credit each toward fulfilling the foreign language requirements for an Advanced Studies Diploma (three years of one language, or two years of two languages).  Students who receive credit for Spanish, French, or German in middle school may count these courses for meeting both credit and subject area graduation requirements.  A student who successfully completes any of the foreign languages offered within level I, may progress to a level 2 course in the same language in eighth grade.
