USO at Dulles Airport

For over 80 years, the USO continues to be THE way to show support for our nation’s military members and their families.  USO airport lounges help to strengthen America’s military service members by keeping them connected to family, home and country throughout their service to the nation” by providing an environment to reduce the stress of travel and relocation.  This help can include something as simple as a cup of coffee and a quiet place to relax, find lodging in emergencies, retrieve critical travel orders that have been misplaced, place that last phone call before deployment. 

The Lounge also serves as one of the main transfer points for our "Families of the Fallen" service program by providing respite and comfort to grieving families traveling to witness the return of their loved ones or to attend memorial services. 

Dedicated USO volunteers provide these family members with travel assistance, take care of their immediate on-site needs and often simply lend an understanding shoulder.  The lounge had over 32,000 visitors during 2020.  The USO lounge at Washington Dulles International Airport is open daily, 6:00am – 10:00pm and serves as a home away from home for our military members and their families.
