Ensemble II (Symphonic Band)

The Symphonic Band consists of advanced wind and percussion players.  Membership is by audition or consultation with the Band Director. Membership requires a past and present total dedication and maximum effort and involvement in all aspects of playing and performance. The band will prepare for concerts, VBODA festivals and various community performances.  Membership in the Symphonic Band requires attendance at sectionals, rehearsals, and performances. 

Ensemble I (Concert Band)

The Concert Band consists of intermediate wind and percussion players and is intended as a preparatory course for the Symphonic Band.  The band will prepare for concerts and VBODA festivals.

Jazz Ensemble

The Jazz Ensemble is an integral part of the overall band program and consists of the following instrumentation:  Drum Set, Electric Guitar, Bass Guitar, Piano, Trumpets, Trombones, and Saxophones. Membership is by audition or consultation with the Band Director. Performances include concerts, Jazz Festivals, and various community performances.

Instrumental Methods

Instrumental Methods (aka the Percussion Ensemble) is a class for precussionists that want to expand their skills and knowledge on various precussion instruments.  Performances include concerts, and various community performances.
