Welcome to the Loudoun County High School Fine Arts Department.  The Fine Arts Department seeks to develop student scholarship and character by providing students with both skills and practice in the academic setting as well as performance opportunities in the community.  Our high standards continue to lead to successful artistic experiences derived from the combination of talent and effort and develop the confidence and leadership skills necessary for success in all walks of life.

To that end, the Fine Arts Department at LCHS offers classroom opportunities in Visual Art, Choral Music, Instrumental Music (Band), Guitar, Strings, and Theatre Arts.  Co-curricular participation in the fine arts flourishes as well, with numerous clubs and activities dedicated to providing students practical and performance experiences in the art form(s) of their choice.  Our students’ successes can easily be seen through these activities, be it the superior ratings of the choirs, the Virginia Honor Band status of the marching band, the numerous individual accolades received by our art students, or the considerable success of our theatre and forensics programs in various Virginia High School League competitions.
