Early in the school year of 2012-2013, students applied and were accepted to the first Science Honor Society for LCHS.  A committee of student members submitted an application for charter membership to the national organization.  Acceptance as a charter school to the National Science Honor Society occurred early 2013.

1. continue offering tutoring to LCHS' students

2. assist local elementary schools with their science nights and programs 

3. expand outside school service to promote science and STEM
