The Briar Woods HS Falconaires are a highly skilled ensemble that explore the creative aspects of dance, choreography and equipment techniques. They are a part of the award winning Briar Woods High School Falcon Regiment and have been a premier ladies performance groups since the day Briar Woods High School opened.

This year, 2019-2020, they will compete in the Atlantic Indoor Association Winterguard circuit all over Virginia and will have the opportunity to travel with the band to Orlando, FL to perform in a nationally televised bowl game in December of 2019. Duane Minnick is the coordinator of the colorguard and the Director of Bands. 

The Falconaires have won first place performance awards all over the country including Orlando, Chicago, Boston, Atlanta, Maryland, Williamsburg, Pigeon Forge and throughout the state of Virginia. They were featured performers and televised all over the world in "The 2011 London New Years Day Parade" in London England. They are an extension of The Falcon Regiment Band Program and travel with the and band on all trips. The Falconaires have have proud tradition of superior performance, class and impressive skills that set them apart from many traditional groups of their kind.
