LES is proud to SOAR WITH FOUR.  Our school participates in PBIS which stands for Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support.  It is a research-based discipline program which involves modeling and teaching expected behaviors. The goal is to create a safe and nurturing environment for learning, to help students manage their own behavior, to help students learn to respect each other's rights and property, and for students to take responsibility for their own actions.  All students are encouraged to “Soar with Four” by being Respectful, Responsible, Safe and Kind.  Just as we teach academic standards, we will teach these four behavioral expectations using the same practices and common language school-wide.
