Word SegmentsReview set on Quizlet
On the Reading SOL, students are asked to apply knowledge of word origins and to use structural analysis of roots, affixes, and suffixes to understand complex words.  LCPS developed a list of common roots, affixes, and suffixes, which are covered in ninth, tenth, and eleventh grade.
