MAP Assessments are given to all students enrolled in Algebra 1 and Geometry. At RRHS, the assessment is administered during class time within the following three test windows:
Fall: August 26 - September 17, 2024
Winter: January 8 - January 31, 2025
Spring: April 8 - May 2, 2025
MAP results are used by teachers to assist students in setting growth goals, differentiate instruction based on student strengths/needs, and monitor student progress throughout the year. Building administrators use results to identify the knowledge and skill levels of students in a classroom or grade and plan for professional development based on patterns in instructional strengths and needs. MAP results are used by central office staff to identify program strengths and needs and to assess the implementation and impact of LCPS initiatives.
For more information please use the LCPS OAS Website, or contact our Math Department Chair Megan Berger.
