Battle of the Books is a competition club in which students read pre-selected books and compete in a game show atmosphere against other LCPS high schools to demonstrate their depth of knowledge of those books. Members on the team read as many books on the list covering genres such as fiction, nonfiction, historical fiction, humor, mystery, science fiction and fantasy. The battle team meets regularly after school to discuss the books and practice answering questions to prepare for the Battle competition held in the spring. If you like to read, you'll want to join and help bring home the Golden Book trophy!
