Karli Hopke

Hi, I'm Ms. Karli and I'm so happy you're going to be in the Lowes Island family.
I'm begin my ninth year of teaching preschool special education. I'm excited to be teaching a full class of two-year olds and teaching them the joy of school. The 2024-2025 school year will be amazing!
I graduated from George Mason University with a B.A. in Integrative Studies and a concentration in Child and Family Studies. I also minored in Early Childhood for Diverse Learners. I received my master's from George Mason University in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Early Childhood for Diverse Learners and a license in Early Childhood Special Education. Before working in Loudoun County, I was an assistant for Fairfax County Public Schools for three years in an autism program and in a special education preschool.
I grew up and went to Loudoun County Public Schools. I have three dogs (Gabby, Shane, and Christy). In my free time, I love crafting, hiking, and relaxing with yoga.
